Advance Areta Animation Program (AAAP)

is a comprehensive program that trains students in all aspects of Animation. It gives a through grounding in all the fundamentals and techniques of Animation - 2D & 3D, design visualization, image magic, digital sculpting; and also trains in the latest technologies and tools used in the Animation & Multimedia industry.

Along with classroom exposure, learn from expert articles, blogs and video tutorials.

Eligibility: 10+2 ( Arts / Science / Commerce ) / Undergraduates / People with a creative bent of mind Duration of this course is approximately 33 months. Classes are typically held for 2 hours a day for 3 days a week. (Fast-track course option also available.)

SEMESTER I Design Suite
Overview and Objective: This semester lays the foundation for learning design, sketching and graphics skills.
Learning Outcomes This semester will include the following topics:
  • Basics of computers, multimedia, and the Internet
  • Fundamentals of graphics and illustrations and design and visualization
  • Creating illustrations and repurpose them in Photoshop
  • Concepts of advertising and media publishing
  • Fundamentals of Computer, Multimedia and Internet Design and Visualization Fundamentals

SEMESTER II 2D Design & Animation Suite
Overview and Objective: This semester enhances skills in anatomy study, storyboarding, 2D animation, and audio - video editing.

  • Concepts of 2D animation and graphics with Flash
  • Introduction to the Principles of Animation

  • Basics of 3D - from modeling with 3D to animation
  • Use of lights, camera, and materials in an animation using Max
  • Use of 3D motion graphics and FX in Max
  • Concepts of rendering with V-ray and digital FX
  • Clay Mation - A Stop Motion Animation techniques

Overview and Objective: This semester covers advanced 3D animation techniques with specialization in the area of interest and portfolio development.

  • Modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, and rigging with Maya
  • Character animation, paint effects and dynamics
  • Introduction to the realistic features, matchmoving and camera tracking
  • Modeling with Maya

  • Lighting and rendering with Maya
  • Rigging with MAYA
